so i'm opening up this night and its soo dead.. the system is pretty bangin though and i am having a somewhat fun time working out the subs. but i am still quite bored... any ideas as to what to do for fun? i know you heads that run weeklys probably have good ideas.. aside from drinking the bar tab

I’ve always feared this scenario. I’d play tunes from my collection that I’d always wanted to hear in a proper club system… and entertain myself & save my “real” set for the next time, or when it starts filling up… in the meantime, I’d be playing everything from Burial to random D&B tunes I never got to hear out. Noisia, Mr Oizo… anything LOL screw it… nobody’s there, who cares… probably dip into my own collection and play those too. LOL

Dig out a shit load of tunes that you've always thought were classic but never heard played out. I once opened East Village's main room, spent the first 20mins playing tracks from the Ghost In The Shell album to a room of about 20 people. Lush.
