Also would it may make you understand better why he would care since he doesn't only make dubstep? Because he doesn't and your name choice not only confuses his fans in the future but also what ever fans you'll have.

Here's a question.... did you google 3rdeye dubstep? you wouldve come up with his myspace on the first hit. If you are claiming you will release all genres of music wouldn't it have been wise to research some of the more popular genres to see if there already was a 3rdeye? even when i just google the word 3rdeye by itself his myspace is the 4th hit.

Was going to post a comprehensive yet concise response to the OP (particularly the OP's condescending second post) - but the key points have already been covered by other posters in this thread (thank you). However....

I think the bottom line is this - if there had been a record label called 3rdeyeldn operating within the dubstep market when I became involved years ago, I would not have chosen 3rdeye as my moniker. It's a shame that 3rdeyeldn cannot grasp this very simple intellectual property concept and simply change their name.

i know i've been getting tunes off the original 3rdeye since about 2007....

i guess the lesson here is, just make up a name with random letters that no one on the planet can pronounce, and you'll never have such problems

to keep things balanced for the OP, i will say the 1st tune on the soundcloud was pretty nice, though i don't think it excuses the poor googling techniques mentioned by b1t crunch3r

that's exactly it This was said in my initial contact, which was prompted by surprise rather than any rancour or anger, but met with point blank refusal to accept that there was an issue. I really didn't want a public discussion of it but felt I had to stand my ground. I really appreciate the support from everyone though, cos the OP sure wouldn't listen to me.
