hm... i ordered one. Figured with all the blankets and bullshit i throw over mic stands and cabs, it can't hurt to see how they do it. Although I never heard of the company, it looked legit

Looks like specific techniques for a certain microphone they produce. Rather than a broad mix of techniques.

I'm hoping it's like working with a stereo pair of small diaphragms to do this, do that, and figure 8 and an ldc do this, and blah blah blah. I prolly already know all this stuff, but you never know.

I ordered it.. not because i need it (I have studied for 4 years music tech so far), but because its FREE!!!

ya never know. If you learn one little technique... it is worth it, especially if it costs nothing more than your time to watch it. Can't argue with that.

that's what i figured, and no I haven't seen Rode products before. Just my 57's and my blue, and in other places some AKGs and more Blues. Hoping to learn from their thing though, hoping its not too much of a big commercial for their products.

Rode changed the mic market back in the day by producing pretty good ldc's at an affordable cost. Really opened up the low end condensor market.

I'll probably end up ordering it myself, but in the meantime if someone receives it sooner, can they post it to this thread? Kinda curious as to whats in it.

Likely freebee will be done by the time my disc arrives.
