How can i make them Filthy dubstep bassies on reason?

reason kinda sucks for not having VST's, but people say you can make the bass without all the VSTs if you know what your doing.. so i need help.. tips etc.

omg this is shit, you don't learn anything new.. i want to learn how to make filthy dubstep not make some crappy bass lool. this Sticky is rubbish.

check this out. i know how it is u like a sound and have to work at it, nobody is going to give away there sound, im still developing mine, but what i do is ...
create a basic crappy square wav with a 2 octave spread and a variable lfo on cutoff. if u start to get the oldschool caspa sound youre on the right track. add some distortion. compress. eq. compress. and eq again. chop it up to your liking. adjusting the filter frequency and resonance to taste.
try using reason it is a good learning tool.
there i just saved you 6 months of sifting through dubstep forum posts and snide users remarks.

go buy ableton, pro tools, logic or some other DAW that allows you to ReWire into reason if you want to use VST. if you want to learn how to make filthy basses, go read up on synthesis. we all started at the bottom.

go to youtube. thats a good start! youll find loads of basic wobble tutorials. from there turn knobs change waveforms tweak envelopes! play with scream4, unison, chorus flanger!
