PostDubstep / Cracklestep Crew

Who else is making these kinds of tunes, besides myself and Gnome?

Post your tunes here…

Tried wading through the finished dubs section but it was all your standard fare… If you’re into Mount Kimibie / James Blake / Burial style etc… I’m really interested in hearing it!

(PS: Lets not go into a sub-genre name debate btw, I know these are contentious terms, but they served their purpose--as you instantly knew what sound I was talking about)

they are two more 'new genres' im gonna have to renember lol..... anyway....

yeah i know the style. quite liking it too at the moment, although i was trying to make it a year or so ago after hearing the minimalistic sounds in some of mr oizos album analog worms attack. The types of songs that sound like they are barely held together yet still keep a nice groove going.

been trying it again lately, using very dry sounds and little audio chops, its hard to get right imo!

You should all know better.

The feedback thread is for all types of music, just because you think you're all edgy and trendy because you've decided to start calling your dubstep 'post-dubstep' doesn't mean you deserve a new thread dedicated to your tunes. I've posted garage, hip hop, ambient blah blah blah in there and so do lots of others.

I think these were some of the first ever tracks I did, about a year or so ago when I knew literally fuck all about anything. Pretty much all of it was done with audio. Drums are shocking, but I lost the original project files so can't re-do 'em

The feedback thread is for feedback. You guys were right to start a thread to showcase a certain sound. Good work guys.
Fix'd now stop being a moaning idiot.

does this count?
all the samples came from vinyl so the crackles just sorta came along with it.

EDIT: oh and the finished tracks thread is a piece of shit for the most part!
