I don't get it, is this an american thing?

This is kinda the same as the advert they realised...I prefer the one where a dude doesn't get hurt. The whole 'sponser gave me these gloves' thing was well funny.

I didn't realize just how jaded some folk are round here. The joke is that they guy is just a stupid douche, and while trying to show off to the girl he nails a dude in the chest with a dart. Not really rocket science, but I guess.....well I don't know. Apparently we have very different senses of humor.
