Not sure if i'm allowed to advertise on here? so just give me a heads up if im not allowed mods!

Just thought i'd give you guys a heads up, i'm selling a krk rokit 8 (or the pair) because i've got a new pair of the G2's. The older pair are just sitting collecting dust now.

Only one of the older pair works, one is broken (hence why i got a new pair), i will happily sell both if you want the broken one for spare parts or to try to fix (looks unfixable, but i know little about electronics haha)

The working one is in fine condition other than a little chip on one of the corners, everything else is perfectly fine.

I'm looking to sell it (or the pair) for around £100-130 (depending on wether you want the single working one or both) plus the charge for the courier service.

If you're interested just give me a PM on here or something and i can drop over photos and talk about it abit more!

Do you have any idea whats wrong with the broken one at all? I have a limited knowledge so just want to ascertain whether or not its fixable. I would buy them off you just to use the one, but only got about £50 atm, see what I can do

Nah mate, i also have little knowledge when it comes to monitors,, when the home insurance sent someone out to look, they sent someone from currys, which i couldnt understand seeing as they dont sell items like this.... but i got a new pair anyway haha.

From what i can gather, the woofer has fallen off the inside, and the coil has snapped, no idea if its fixable or not mate!

i'm interested in the working one, i live in germany though and the next paycheck comes in exacly a month... i have a launchpad tho if you wanna trade

To be honest if i could of pushed her back up where she come from my wife would have a very sore fanny as my daughter is a teenager!

Wait a minute... I have a 5 y.o., and I could see this happening... but a teenager... what's up with that? Dish, what do I have to look forward to?

it can be fixed if you dont mind opening it and modifying it alot...you can buy replacement parts if you want, but I would go cheap and replace parts of the speaker with household items...I dunno if that would sound good, but I've seen people make really nice subwoofers out of household items and some ok tweeters out of styrofoam plates
