Hi everyone,

I have dj'd and made house music for five years, and lately I have listened dubstep alot and started loving it.
Now I tried make a dubstep remix of Wiz Khalifa's Black And yellow, so I would appreciate if you take a listen to it!

now the idea to remix that track is cool, but i think you should rearrange it to fit regular dubstep tunes' arrangements. makes it easier to mix, also the wobbles could use more midrange and movement (so they fit the groove of the track better). nothing you can't fix tho!

ez!

Thanks for commenting!

This is my first dubstep -track ever, so, the dubstep arranging and all is quite new to me.
I have fully the same opinion about fitting the wobble more into the groove and maybe using more midrange to the wobbles.

Thank you for constructive feedback!

no probs! the typical arrangement is fairly simple, you have 16, 32 or sometimes 64 bars of intro, then the first drop, after another 32, 64 etc bars a break, basically another intro/buildup, 2nd drop, after that the outro.
just listen to some dubstep tunes and count the bars, it's pretty easy once you got it. those numbers aren't set in stone at all, and there's tunes with only one or 3 drops. there's no real rules as it's all music, except that to make things easy to mix use multiples of 8 for your different passages.

or just leave it like that ;) ez!

Cool remix bro, I was waiting for a portion of purely that wobble bass. Its sounding good, i think if you let the Bass lead at some point it would help define the track.
