I'm planning to buy a new mixer. After I renewed the rest of my set-up, it's the last thing I have to do
I'm a strickly vinyl DJ at the moment. Maybe getting a bit digital in the future, but for now, I love vinyl too much.

These ones I had in mind...
- Ecler Mac 40v
- Allen & Heath Xone 42
- Ecler HAK 360

EDIT: after lots of reading and searching. 2 models are left, choice is really hard...
ALLEN & Heath Xone:42 OR Ecler NUO 4.0. I'll make a decision in the coming days.

Rodec is out of the question, it was my first choice though. My dad has a music store, so he could get these brands at a special price, Rodec is not in his selection.

Any tips or other suggestions are more than welcome

You've got a good selection to choose from there already. I'd be considering these too if I was in your position:

Also, the old (before they fucked up the styling) Vestax 05's and 06's are quality.
If you can find a Vestax PMC37pro they're worth checking out too (image - http://www.walkersound.co.uk/Vestax_PMC37.gif)

If I was in your position, I'd probably go for the Hak 360, a 2nd hand Xone:32 or save up for a Rane Empath. Personally I don't like the styling of the new A&H mixers, but I have an old-style Xone:32 and it is great.

I've really come to love my ecler nuo 3.0. If you don't need the extra channel there's the 2.0 also. It's really small..looks pretty nifty.

Can't go wrong with Rane obviously, don't know much about A&H..I'm sure they're nice too.

I just got the pioneer djm350 n am really happy with it. Sound quality is good n it's solidly built, only 2 channels which is good if ur thinking of serato at some point. U can also record directly on to USB with it

For functionality it has to be the DJM800 every time...but it sounds like ass!! that thing lives in the red.

If you're beat-matching and going for good blends of tunes it has to be allen and heath every time. Those things sound AMAZING!! you can drive them so hard and it still sounds weighty as hell. The djm800 just doesnt have the sound quality.

I use Xone 22.

Pioneer is NO option for me Gonna be Ecler or Allen & Heath. Rane is also a possibility now after some comments in here.

Allen & Heath: amazing sound quality?? sounds very interesting. I think also you have more options with an Allen & Heath than an Ecler, or am I wrong...

i've got the djm 400...excellent mixer...i was going to buy the 350 though the usb recording was a strong point..

I have the Allen & Heath Xone 42, really happy with it I would also recommend checking out the Ecler Nuo 3 or Nuo 4. Xone 92 if you have stacks of cash.
