A Change of Style

Ok, so I've really enjoyed making some stinky basses and stuff, but before I started making electronic stuff, I was always a deephead at heart.
I've been playing around with some more chilled garagey, future dubstep (whatever fucking genre you like) shit recently but I'm stumped structurally - check the soundcloud.

Anywhoo, This style of music is so much harder to get access too, I mean, for 'filth' just go and join the stnuc on UKF, but youve got to dig for the deeper more experimental stuff, so I need help.

I have ideas, but from what Ive heard so far, the deeper tunes are structured entirely differently and it's a real knack. So, if you will, I need advice on how to do this, and maybe some artists who could show me the ropes via some intense listening.

Cheers lads

Check out fentplates on soundcloud. I usually find all my deep stuff on db9, but you just might as well support the artists.

I feel like structurally, there's not a huge difference...but when I make tunes myself, the structure always varies from tune to tune. So I would just make it how you think it should sound, and then if you think the structure is weird, rearrange it or make a new edit for DJs or something.

I know it sounds bad but the best thing can sometimes be YouTube.

There's a 2011 mix on there that is 90 minutes long. It's got all of the current bangers in it.

See that's the sort of thing I need, just a lot of research into current artists doing their thing with it.
