Hey team,

I'm a DJ and event curator/promoter stateside. I've opened and worked with the likes of Eskmo, Beats Antique, Kingdom, Maga Bo, Moldy, Roommate, Inspector Dubplate, NiT GriT, Mimosa, Emancipator, Blockhead, EPROM, Schlachthofbronx.

Years ago I started out as IDM DJ and eventually made my way to Dubstep and most recently I have been forging ahead into the future bass territory....

So for the "Best of 2010" BLOC Festival competition hosted by Bleep.com I decided to outline this relatively new movement of seemingly desperate forms of bass music coming together to form this amalgamated genre gentrification. Somewhat as a response to the chainsaw symphonies that dominated 2010, and somewhat as music's inability to remain static. "Omnistep" may be a bit of a misnomer, as it doesn't stay a constant BPM and eludes the "step" with a decent dose of 4/4, but the term "Future Bass" or "Future" anything is kind of asinine.

This is my first studio mix in over a year, as our various weekly radio programs (http://www.mixcloud.com/grimebrick) and downtown gigs have consumed my time.

There is literally something for everyone in this mix. Otherwise the term "Omni" wouldn't be very fitting I suppose. Take a listen, feel free to favorite it and spread around on Facebook and Twitter!

I'm also totally open to feedback, positive and negative. This isn't amateur hour, I enjoy what I do and want you to enjoy it as well. Constructive criticism is always welcome. Cheers.
