Hi all,

I thought I'd indulge a personal fetish of mine and start a thread for sharing cool uses of the 303 - or more generally acid-ey sounds - in new music. I can think of a few corkers but I'm sure there's stuff out there I'm missing. It's definitely coming back in a big way right?

so, to start us off:

and, not quite so recently:

educate me!

Haha yes that Snares stuff is wild...everything he touches is gold in my opinion.

As for T. Williams & Boddika getting hold of some machines, it's interesting how loads of UK producers seem to be getting onto it at the moment. Seems like a lot of house & techno people are making 303 tracks recently too, though would I be naive in saying that's a new trend?

Examples:

Track 3 on this, "Joey Anderson - Listen Up":

And the first sample on this:

p.s. I think Loefah might have played both T. Williams & Boddika 303 tracks on the autonomic show tonight...certainly plenty of burbling acid to go around, very nice indeed

Hot trend alert! Not mad tho.

A deadly acid line creeps in in the second half of this one:

It's beeb posted in another thread but I literally cannot get over this tune atm...

Very excited about the acieed resurgence, it's such a sick synth. Anybody got 303 of one of those x0xb0x things. Tempted to invest myself but keep reasoning myself out of it!

don't wish to hijack the thread but here's a freebie download track I uploaded a day or so ago that fits this criteria nicely.....

You've all surely heard this one, but it's just too good to be slept on.

Also: heard this track when i was at a club some weeks back. it was a pretty minimal and stripped down, yet warm and groovy house track with this subtle little 303 going on, made me go all :6: The dj playing it is called Ulf Eriksson, he's active with the Kontramusik label and was warming up before Tama Sumo, if that gives you any indications stylewise. he doesn't seem to use his twitter too much, so don't know if it's worth trying to ask him there, since he might not even remember what he played.

Is Ace Of Club - Benefist an example of use of a 303?
