Clipping...

Sometimes when I finish a song the end result shows clipping that I am almost always unaware of unless someone else points it out to me; the master and other track levels in my Reason 5 are not showing any signs of redness (even in my resampling input that I setup with the spider audio merger and splitter...); I want to know how I can prevent this from happening in the future because right now I can't tell whether my tracks are clipping or not without the levels going into the red...& I have everything EQ'd, mastered, etc..

Reason is deceptive because it has no numbers. It's not enough to not be in the red, you don't want anything touching yellow either.

I feel like it would be more of an issue of EQ with reason. I have noticed that you really need to high/low pass everything to get acceptable loudness without peaking.
Also try a trick that i inherited. Add a maximizer to every combinator you do, and if you need to control any levels on that particular track, control it by the output on the maximizer instead of the mixer. You will see each track if it peaks or not. Try to stay away from the mixer levels until you are doing your FINAL MASTER.
