What phone network/contract? Help Appreciated!

So, what phone network and contract do u subscribe to?
After years of penny pinching on Virgin Pay As U Go i`m gonna sell my soul to some phone company or other for 18 months.
I`m pretty much settled on a 1/2 price Carphone Warehouse deal on O2 which gives 600mins + 500texts for what works out at 17pound 50 a month but the bump is that u have to pay the full price of 35 pound each month then claim your money back every 6 months or so.

Anyone reckon this to be a particularly bad contract to get into or have any recommendations otherwise??

That sounds like it could be a ball-ache.

i'm on the greatest contract i've ever had at the moment
it's T-Mobile's Flext 35, basically for £30 per month (if you sign up online) you get the equivalent of £180 pay as you go credit. only thing it doesn't cover is stuff like premium numbers or those text service things.
it's fucking marvelous.

Yeah i heard good things about flext. But isn't it not exactly a contract. On Flext you can still find yourself saying 'I've got no credit can i borrow your phone' - is that right?
I hear orange is bad a lot. I'm on Orange. I'm on fish contract or penguin or something its def not jaguar - i hate myself : (

If you're with Virgin (ex-NTL) for tv, broadband and/or landline, looks like they're doing a nice little package of £10 for each. Mobile deal looked pretty good, think it was 300 minutes and 300 texts. Might be worth a look

damn, is orange really that bad??
i was just offered a really good deal on orange today from carphone warehouse. it`s an 18 month contract (15 months half price) at 35pound per month with 900 minutes. it`s really tempting but i have heard that orange has really bad customer service.

i tried a contract where you had to claim back the money every few months and its very easy to lose the money! also its annoyin.
the contract im on now is the best ive been on - £15 a month for 600 mins any network any time, and 2000 texts, and it goes down to 300 mins and 1000 texts after 6 months. only problem is that its with 3, but to be honest i get reception almost everywhere anyway so its bless.
dan, let us know the fruits of your research when you decide - my contract's runnin out soon!
