Already got it preordered on Steam for release in the Autumn

I can put up with respawn spam, I can put up with people who use RPGs on infantary (it's perfectly fair IMO), and even those who just sit out the entire game as a sniper racking up two kills. But what I can't put up with - and really hate (IMO it's ruined online gaming) - is kids. Once upon a time it was largely adults who played online games back in the days of TF and Quake, but now, as broadband has got cheaper and more available, coupled with cheaper computers... there's been an explosion of 12 year old gamers. Most of them are perfectly OK and just play the game as any other player but some just ruin the game, exploiting bugs, glitches, or worse still - spending their pocket money on a server and then acting as you'd expect a 12 year old with a bit of power to behave.


CoD is well pony - every single one of them.

Not being funny, but why are people saying this will take COD to school when it looks exactly like COD in the first place? To me, that video just looks like COD4 with better graphics. There's definitely an element of Ghost Recon in the graphics, but from what I can see of the gameplay in that video it seems to be an arcade-ish run and gun game. Where's the helicopters and shit?

If you ask me, its all about Vietnam and Battlefield 2. Bad Company was shit.

yeah, dunno bout it yet though it may have expired, but i dont care to be honest.

BF2 is ace.
BC2 Vietnam is ace.
BC2 is better than CoD, IMO.

I don't like CoD games because the graphics always look about five years out of date and it seems to be open to more exploits than BF; although that could be because it is more popular.

Visually it looks like its going to require a beasty computer

i hateee kids ruining fps games (mainly on consoles thank god) this generation
i got banned when playing black ops at a buds for "hardscoping" aka using a sniper rifle like it's meant to be
so then i did run and gun quickscoping with the same sniper rifle and got bitched at for that
fucking kids who want any reason to bitch about losing

i'll wait out to see how the community is with this before ordering it
some great multiplayer games have been ruined by kids
