Hey guys,

I just joined recently, and I wanted to share a nearly-finished track I have been polishing off. Wanted to see if you guys had any feedback before I send it off for mastering.

The cover art is roughed up as well, made by a friend of mine. I'll have some other works in progress to share that I think you guys will enjoy uploaded soon, but I wanted this to be my first (original) contribution to the forum.

wait... this isn't mastered yet? sounds like the levels are peakin a bit to high or did you just put a limiter on the output?

I've got pre-mastering effects on the stereo buss atm, but its stuff I intend to disable before sending off stems. Theres a very lazy limiter brickwalling everything after a multiband compressor on the master to keep it all tame. Nothing's peaking, although you might be hearing release-tearing from the limiter, which won't be there after mastering, fsho.

aaah aha i do the same when posting tracks on here before the master., i never put up my track without some premastering effects or else it'd be too low of a volume
