Lovely ambiance, really liked the voice sample... a bit repetative imo. The "drums" were funny but to my ears the lacked in definition, they were a little bit muddy - I think that if you layered them with some "proper" kicks and snares they would stand out more and with those you could also add some variation to the beat and som fills and whatnot to lively it up a bit...

But on the whole I think you had a well spent day off.

Btw, I had a listen to some of youre other tunes on soundcloud... loved youre treatment of the vocla sample in "Acid".

Thanks for the feedback! im curious though, on what did you listen to it? (speakers/headphones). And yes, you are very correct, drums where made with some random noises found in the re samplings. lol went overboard with ambiance....
oh and also, what about the beat was funny (really trying to improve my shit)? btw listening to your tunes right now, proper chill stuff. Safe.

Nice effort, i also thought you could do with layering the kick especially with an actually drumsound, though in general i'm a big fan of non-standard percussion (one of my sig tunes has entirely vocal percussion apart from the kick).

I agree with emm that that sort of spoker voice sample shouldnt really be repeated, try to get a few more like it and tell a story with the during the track.

Don't really have anything to add, but I think this track is certainly worth further effort! Vibes here.

A few too many low-mids at points. The whole thing needed a bit more definition. There is vibe there though which is more important to get down than getting a tight mix first thing. Definetly work on the drums, they need to drive the track, not the ambience. Good vibe

I'm not quite sure atm, I'm listening to the tune again now on my headphones - and switched to my speaker for half a minute or so (its getting a bit late in sweden right now and I've tormented the neighbours enough for one day)... have you been editing the tune since my last post? Theres clearly a kick sound in the beat now wich I didnt hear the first time. Maybe i have to take back what I said about muddyness... Even though I still think that layering a kick and a snare with the beat could make the actual beat in it self clearer i.e. that you can hear the individual drums that the "random noice" alludes to.

I meant the idea of using random noices for the beat, and that you did it well too, thats really fun to me.
Im glad you liked my tunes.

Sounds really cool man. I love the idea of unusual percussion, props. I'd keep going at it if I were you though, can't really thin of anything specific or helpful to say though.

oh and I can definately tell you not everything is sunny with dimethyltrypt.

Definite respect for all the feedback, def gonna work on the drums, add some high range in there, and go sample some more vocals (itching for some woman vox).
Kinda sketched out on adding higher range perc on drums, only ideas that come to mind or standard hats, might kill the ambiance, but i'll figure it out when I get back to the DAW.

D: is that good or bad. personally, it was mostly a mocking of brostep (over resample and throw it together lol)

Safe .

Here it is, semi final version, gonna let it soak in for a bit. Might come back and change it up. I added all the changes as a different section, i guess it fits in nicely, anyway, take a gander, hope you guys like it....
