ive been trying to figure out how to create this type of pulling effect on a sound (best way i can describe it)...ill post a link to a song that uses it. the notes behind the piano melody are kind of pulled across and then the next 2 notes are quicker. weird question maybe, and kind of hard to explain but i think someone out there will know what im talking about. im pretty sure its not just a held note tho, because you can feel/hear it being stretched kind of. i was thinking maybe its just a reversed sound maybe but not sure.

amazing song by the way too by a great artist, he has some nice chilled out dnb too if anyones into that.
anyway, if anyone can understand what the fuck im trying to explain and/or knows how to create the effect, any help is great.
thanks

The sound of the piano? That's just been reversed. It really does sound awesome as an effect, especially on piano

To me, it sounds like a mixture of two sounds. One of the pianos is just being played forward with some reverb attached to it to give it a tail. The second notes that come in between the first sound being played again, have the reversed reverb technique attached to them.
