Hi

I make Dubstep as a hobby and only really get the time to get on my set up once a week.
.
I use Ableton Operator to make all my synths and Basslines, Can anyone tell me if I can get that Skrillex style bassline out of it? If not can I do it within the Ableton environment?

Have a listen to my latest effort!

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the consensus is that Operator is pretty powerful as a synth, but I'll bump for you anyways out of curiosity.

Don't want to hijack, but how did you learn to use Ableton? Do you feel the manual + videos that come with it are enough, or did you use an outside website or video series?

Skrillex made his stuff using Fruity Loops and plugins I think.

You can make similar Basslines in Operator using some Saturator and possibly redux.
Not sure how though, or just use Massive :6:

Not a fan of that area of Dubstep sorry.
