Hi

I'm going to DMZ in May for my birthday, as I live in Notts I was going to get a train down and stay somewhere over night. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay close by please? Any other advice would be great as I've not been to any events in london. It's my first Dubstep night and want it to rock.
Thanks

Get the train from Nottingham at 5:30pm, arrive into St Pancras around 7pm, get the tube straight to Brixton. Stay up all night, get first tube back to St Pancras, then train back to Nottingham. No need for lodgings - you can sleep on the trains.

I would possibly do the train thing, but my mate fell asleep on a train the other month, was supposed to get off in Coventry but ended up in Milton Keynes!!! Not what i really want after a night out, i would freak!

The offer is open for anytime you are here

The link to this one on urban75 is broken. This one looks like a half decent bet (maybe a quarter decent bet..). You can get a double room with a single occupancy for £45 for the night, might be a bit more comfortable than a single room.

Thing is though - you might have to check out at 10am or something. Would you even be back by then? They might do a day rate.

theres lots of places to stay...dont know any in brixton...but lots in earls court ...or try www.ashleehouse.co.uk - 2 mins walk from kings cross/st pancras station or www.generatorhostels.com at russell square...both are cheap (12-15 pounds) and safe......lots of littel bnb's behind the mcdonalds across the street from king's cross , argyle sq i think its called....they always have vacancies...
