Lunar Perigree is due on March 19th. The moon will appear up to 14% larger and 20 times brighter for the whole night.
Could be a catalyst for increase in extreme weather patterns. Every time this has happened before there has been an increase in volcanic activity, floods and earthquakes. shoutout goes to my mum for making me aware of this.

Do you not close your curtains when you go to sleep anyway?

Well, There is a reasonable chance that I'm going to be waking up tomorrow feeling rough and with memory gaps....

Absolutely 100% false.

The last one in March 1983 passed with no incident. A close perigree in December 2008 also passed without incident. The tides on average go 10cm more in either direction.

Perigrees are harmless

Wow!

Incredible detail. So bright it has a blue aura
If we all look at it at once we can communicate

Couldn't really notice much increase in size (I guess because I never really spend much time looking at it normally), but it sure does look bright.

Unfortunately I'm in a city, so I guess it won't be as effective here.

Just had a look. Fair bit bigger and it's a hell of a lot brighter. Lovely sight.
