@collective - Its a little heavy but its got so many probabilities
@gnome - no glue, but yes i modded them together with some fabrication,a couple bolts, and a reinforcement plate on the back

40 and 20 make 60 not 80

ya im going to get some custom stickers made to cover the labels! Mabby have a nasty APC80 label made for it!

It looks definitely nice, but if they're just screwed together i don't see a reason doing it, besides the fact that it looks nicer. Could as well use both units next to each other.
Or do they both share the same PSU and midi out now, which truly makes it 1 controller?

Nice job but I'll call overkill on this one... I play live and can't begin to imagine needing that much mapping.

could be really handy as a mix controller; write a few max/msp or touchOSC controls and you could use it to mix in any app.
what's the usb integration like? gotta use both ports? The 20 slaves automatically to the 40, right?

@gnome - haha i have yet to fill them all with clips, but it has been a project of mine to want to build this mammoth
@Project EX - there was no real reason to this build lol
and yes u could just use them side by side, but look at this thing!!
@Sharmaji - ya, have use both usbs, witch kinda blowsss!! But have them running to usb splitters to give me more ports
