Dimensional Expander VST?

I received a suggestion from a feedback post on my current project. I was told to apply a dimensional expander on my bassline...but I didn't use massive. Are there any free vst plugins that work the same way?

Sure? How are you doing it?
Short reverb? I normally go with a smaller room and turn up the wetness.

What DAW you using? In FL there's a "Stereo separation" knob in each mixer track. Work with opening that up.

And with the delay, use a short time and then edit "Stereo offset" settings

Different thing entirely, the dimension expander is a hyped up reverb/stereo imaging tool...

:corntard: I'm pretty sure that won't work haha.

Clone the channels and pan one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right.
Layer them up, maybe displace them a fraction... works well on 'Brostep' basses and basically mimics the effect of stereo widening.

But yeah, should be plenty of VSTs out there... try google.

Everyone always says that shit about panning, you guys checking this stuff in mono after you do that or is this maybe why brostep sounds like... blah... on big systems? And the dimension expander doesnt do a whole lot to the stero image, just enough... all about its reverb/exciter functions...

Basically original poster, your going to have to combine a bit of everytihng in this thread lol.

Same thing as stereo separation? Tried that, it softened the bass I was using too much, but normally I would agree.

lol at the 'massive' generation of producers... saying that a tune needs more 'dimensional expander' to give depth instead of reverb / chorus :?

anyway, this may help you.

Its got nothing to do with the dimensions expander in NI massive. Thats a dynamic expander and does the opposite of compression, but using the same controls frequently found in compression.
As an alternative, its like saying this chalk is cheese
