you can call yourself what ya like, but I can't think you pay much attention to what's put up in this forum if you call yourself hexidecibel. There's a rather successful dj/producer from just a couple hundred miles away that's been doing quite well, and getting a lot of recognition round here. Maybe you didn't know, just thought i'd let ya know.....he's Hexadecibel, or HxdB, and he's very good. More varied, more experimental.

as for your mix......i feel like I'm swimming in dnb and drumstep.

Pretty sure he spells is Hexadecibel, not Hexidecibel.

I've had this DJ Name for years and I'm not going to change it because I hear of someone else killing it with a very similar spelling. Big ups, I love his music.

As for your review... thanks for listening

Dirty Bird, not Dirty Byrdz, we are a tag group -- even further thats a label, not even an act -- so I'm not sure why it would matter that they are similar. There's a rap group in Atlanta called Dirty Birds, should we change it because of that?

Ive been spinning as Hexidecibel for 6 years, Dirty Byrdz for almost as long. I don't see why I would have to change it because someone else is blowing up with the name. And we spin as Dirty Byrdz when we spin bass music, Dirty Bird is a label in Cali based solely around house music. You guys act like I would have no idea of these other people/labels but honestly I just don't give a fuck. Any copyrights are null and void because of the spelling change and with how many people are producers/djs these days -- I am not sure how you can expect every name to be unique. There are four DJ Mike's here in seattle, all spelled different ways, and they manage to not be cocksuckers about "stealing" their dj name.

But then some random dudes on a forum find it necessary to give me shit, when they likely have nothing to do with Hexadecibel or Dirty Bird. I was just trying to share my mix that I worked hard on, but now im just getting annoyed with the elitist douchebag dj name police.
