Thanks. I only sidechained the intro and the middle i didnt sidechain any synths. By the way whats a good freq. for dubstep kicks and snares and especially open hi hats? When i do house music i usually cut everything below 60 on the kicks and boost a little around 105-115... is that ok for dubstep? On this actual track i did nothing at all to the kick and snare other than low cut. But i really just wanted to know how the sub bass sounds since im making my tracks on headphones until my mbox mini comes in and I can hook up my monitors. But anyway thanks for the feedback hope I get more comments. Dj LK

I only have shitty headphones so I can't comment on the fine tunings of the mix. But what I feel immediately is that the bass drum doesn't have 'punch'. It sounds muddled when it should feel like a kick, at least on a song like this. As for what Plesk meant regarding drums, I feel like he means that the drums are fairly basic. The rhythm isn't inherently interesting which isn't always a bad thing, but your song would benefit from some more creative beat making. Listen closely to what some producers do with their drums; even when it sounds simple, there's usually some flare or hit that adds to the groove and swing of the track which is massively important for making a good song.

Your vocal sample is pretty cool and works well on the song. I think if you want specific mastering and mixing advice, the production forum may be a better place.

there are some nice ideas but the sound in general is quite monotone and there is way too much sidechain compression for me ( it´s just my opinion ;-) )
Try to get some kickdrum variations as well.. this makes every track a little more interesting (do not overdo!) but all in all your track seems quite well recorded and you´ve got some nice parts in your song!

keep on working good
