Rusko "Cockney Thug" lead instrument?

Anyone tell me how to get the lead insturment on the melody that kicks in with the womps at around 00:47, that sorta dubby sound?

Quite possibly. I think it may be a synthesised sound as opposed to an actually "instrument". Just been making a bit of dubby stuff atm and would quite like that sound.

I believe he uses a lot of Rob Papen's Albino. Wouldn't be surprised if that's what he was using here as well.

I presume you mean the siren type noise, that's kinda Rusko's signature sound? Not the MIDI trumpets that do the main melody straight after 00:47?

I did mean the main melody, so it's trumpets? I thought it might be some sort of brass instrument, amongst other things. This answers my question

To me it sounds very much like a sampled melody, perhaps it is trumpets, I'm almost sure it's not a synthesized sound
