Pro tip that I just figured out. It is so pro.
Take a distorted snare, put reverb on it. Dry volume 0%, decay 0.1MS, Reverb 100%. Sample the end noise it makes, loop it, add lfo to cutoff, whatever. It is fucking amazing. Here is a sweet ass sweep I just made as an example of this technique fucking awesomeness.

I like it, sounds like something about to take off. Automate the lfo and you've got even more interestingness. Pretty normal approach with snares but, for risers

we all do crazy shit when it comes to designing things.
just keep a list of all the crazy sounds you can make or you will forget somethings
