Over the last 2 Years, DARKROOM has secured its place in NYC bass culture as Brooklyn’s Official Dubstep Monthly. After 24 consecutive monthly shows including appearances from Bomb Squad, MRK1, and DZ to name a few; DARKROOM gears up for its biggest event to date. The festivities are being held at Williamsburg Hall of Music and will feature US Heavyweights, Bare and Vaski. Both of these acts are on fire right now with releases... out on Rottun, Subhuman, Play Me, and other industry leading labels.

BARE (LA/SUBHUMAN RECORDS/CIRLCE)
For Los Angeles bassline technician BARE, aka Sean Rodela, 2010 will be fondly remembered as the year his twisted face melting sickness exploded into a worldwide epidemic. Taking the dubstep scene by storm with his staggering studio output and electrifying live performances, there is no question BARE has clawed his way into the ranks of the bass music elite - and he’s not going anywhere. If you don’t know, time to get to know…

VASKI (MINNEAPOLIS/Rottun Records/www.vaskimusic.com
When DJ/Producer Vaski sent his demo to rottun manager Excision, he had no idea of the journey that he was beginning. With his first two tracks storming the beatport top ten charts, Vaski hit the studio, returning to his Electro House production roots for the massive Terror Dome EP, featuring the self-titled track as well as the hit single "You Wouldn't Understand," Peaking again in the top ten of dubstep on beatport. Vaski's productions and local DJ sets began to gain attention of international promoters and DJ's. Vaski spent the next season DJing at many Twin Cities venues, playing at the famed First Ave, Dinkytowner, and The Loft all the while working on his next work. World on Fire EP shook not only the beatport charts but the entire dubstep community. All five tracks peaked in the top 25 in dubstep on beatport, two tracks in the top ten, and the famous "Get Down" claiming its rightful place as a number one hit. This massive release rocketed Vaski to where he is today: smashing through his international tour, gaining rapid popularity for his unconventional stage presence, and continuously producing ridiculous and catchy bass lines. On the horizon for Vaski is the continuation of his tour, and his biggest production to date.

Diggadee MC Has launched from the world of Drum n' Bass and landed on planet Dubstep. Although Dnb will always be the main ingredient on Diggadee's menu, the Dubstep movement brings a more expansive range of musical awareness. Performing with many of the biggest names in Drum n' Bass from around the world, Diggadee has also managed to work with the biggest names in Dubstep as well i.e. Skream, Benga, Borgore, Datsik & 12th Planet; to name a few. As the two genre's seem to intertwine, the ability to vibe and adapt is necessary in an ever changing music scene. MC Diggadee, Diggadee MC...the spaceship has landed.
