anybody give me a few pointers on creating a similar bass to the one in this track.

its the bass stab that comes in at the drop, 1.30 is the first instance...

i use massive and albino in logic if that helps. any sort of walkthrough would be very much appreciated.

guess this is refreshing as it isn't the standard datsik/rusko BS.

Are you on about the distorted sound with a filter opening up or about the jungle-ish bass?

it comes in at the drop. i guess its the distorted tone with an envelope, not the sub stabs

Wouldn't really call that a stab, but that's just semantics...

Long attack, medium decay, short sustain, and no release. Possibly 2 oscillators with a little resonance.
