BLOOPTFUNK is an outdoor electronic music event to raise funds for the oxford children's hospital campaign, organised by myself (GRAHAM FLETCHER, www.myspace.com/grahamfletcher)

we have had an overwhelming response from some absolutley top notch artists and DJ's to give their time to the playing for the cause.

Last year my two year old son had an operation at the john radcliffe in oxford to remove a lump from his neck so this is my way to show gratitude and publicise there work and publicise quality deep electronic music in one go.

54 mins from london on the train, 10 mins from junc 13 of the M4 (so not too far a drive from oxford, bristol, hampshire and london) hopefully loads of you dubstep soldiers will travel to enjoy some exclusive dubplates in the sun From DJ's Pinch and N-type on a phat system in an intimate public park setting....free entry (tho donations are of course expected ) and a free after party with DJ N type and myself at the late lounge, nightclub nearby 10-2.30am. Other artists playing are the uk dmc scratch champion 2005 DJ muzzell (check this clip)[/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nK-ir0ePJWQ] , derailleur live - hot and upcoming electro techno artist who records for the black dog's record label, dust science , DJ mat carter (reknowned for his long running eclectic DJ career, DJs at fabric etc, runs his own varial recs) plus top quality dj's mook and dubbug with dub and downtempo selections........
www.myspace.com/blooptfunk . . .for all the updates, forthcoming podcast . . if you live within an hour please see if you can bring a posse to support underground music ( i regularly drive up to DMZ).licensed bar and stuff to entertain kids if u have em......last year i ran two events and raised £1147, this year with increased attendance we can aim for £3000

OK so a wet morning isnt what u wanna see the day before an outdoor event but the met website and others predict dry afternoon after a wet morning (so we may get wet setting up but you guys should be ok.

any updates needed on day to status of event etc calll this number 07906 956035

here's directions from the train station if u r coming from london......
newbury station is one.were on the line that goes through reading station.if u get a fast great western service form paddington its 52 mins .the park is not far from here, 5 mins easy walk.the postcode for the park is RG14 1EE .if u use street map or google earth u should get an idea.....

from the station :
at the station (coming from london) leave the station by the right handside of the tracks... (if you arrive on left cross over bridge).walk up to your right.go left at the corner.walk straight ahead into town.you'll come to a junction.go straight ahead past the post office.at the post office cross the road and continue straight ahead to the market.go through the market.when u see ASK PIZZA.turn right and walk down a small lane towards a large modern looking building (the library).at the bottom of this lane is a mini roundabout, turn left and walk over the bridge.you'll see us from there.

got some serious sub bass pressure lined up for the after party . . .nice dark room with a phat clear system.
