my midi keyboard HELP

hi i have a MC-36 Medeli keyboard on the back of it only has one midi port (midi out). But my midi cable (usb one) has two ports please help i cant albeton live to reconise it 
plug the midi in from cable to the midi out on keyboard and select the midi driver for your cable in ableton
