Does just being a fan of Mick Harris count? Not too familiar with Napalm Death apart from hearing the odd tune when I was hanging out in my mate's room around age 13, liked what I heard though. Same with the tune Distance played from them on the Breezeblock mix with Vex'd.

not so much the later stuff....scum era tho. Saw them back in the day 87/88 with doom, bolthrower, deviated instinct..... extreme noise terror were waaay better...

im a big mick harris and justin broadrick fan. they were both in napalm death but only for a short time. mick formed scorn and justin formed godflesh (my fav band of all time) scron was the first dub type stuff i got into.

Was quite surprised how quickly this thread got moved to the 'other music' section... but nevermind, at least it doesn't get lost amid the other usual threads
Combat crew have been long time Scorn fans... this autumn he drops 2 tracks on the label (link below + blog)
http://myspace.com/mjhscorn
He's also got an 8 track album "stealth" coming out on german label Ohm Resistance in September. It's similar to the familiar Scorn style, but a bit more halfsteppy with rolling snares in between the big kicks... These tunes wouldn't sound out-of-place in a Vex'd DJ set

the tracks vary between 65 - 70 bpm (i.e. 130 to 140 bpm... perfect!)
Sounds like dark dubstep has found it's way back to Scorn, rather than the other way round.
This autumn will be a dark one. Mick is the don!

According to Joe Muggs from Mixmag, we sound like Godflesh. We've also been compared to Scorn but I've never really been exposed to that kinda stuff. Looks like I need to do some research.....
I'm gonna go and listen to a load of industrial metal destruction right now.
Huge up the Stormfield!!!

NAPALM DEATH + SCORN ALL THE WAY BABY!
i reckon judged by the bass-weight Mick inflicts, this thread would deserve to be in the main Dubstep forum and not Other Music....
kills the shit outta most dubstep

I wish someone would do a mix of the more crucial tracks by these bands and post it here, that would be ill. Dank and deep, please.
