Angry When Drunk

I sometimes get ridiculously angry when I'm drunk. Not about anything and it doesnt happen that often, but sometimes I will completely lose it for no reason and wake up with broken knuckles and random bruises. I never fight people either its always walls or trees. Does this happen to anyone else? I also get it when I'm sober and something really pisses me off I get this sort of warm feeling rising up in my chest and I have to punch something and i have no control over it. So many holes in walls and doors round my parents house! I get the same feeling when im sitting still for longer than 5-10 mins, I get this warm feeling in my chest and I have to start playing with something on the table or moving my leg. My parents never "believed" in ADD/ ADHD so never got me tested but I reckon it has something to do with that, especially the sitting still thing?

Are you in your early/mid 20's?
Do you blaze a lot?

I'd definitely say it's ADD thing. Other than that, I'd say you have some anger management issues. you really should get some help with that. good luck ;)

i know what you mean with that warm feeling in your chest its horrible. doesnt happen to me a lot but when it does i really cant help but punch something. my arm just pretty much raises itself whatevers the closest ends up smashed. its a horrible feeling i hate it when it happens but i cant stop myself from doing it. never happens when im drunk though suprisingly so maybe its not alcohol related for you too? i dunno..
this post didnt really help sorry

Vodka makes me super aggressive. Punch people over nothing. trash things. Shout at people over things they ain't even done. Get really competitive.

Buckfast makes me go a bit weird to say the least.

Otherwise I'm not too bad really. Does anything set you off or does it happen from specific things you drink or is it everytime you drink? Could be something specific just brings out this anger you're talking about but without a trigger.

Also I do have trouble with anger occasionally when sober. Get this sudden rise in me then have this feeling like I'm struggling to contain it and occasionally snap and kind of lose consciousness of what I'm doing. Usually can contain it but for some reason vodka makes me act like I'm on edge all the time. Like I'm not angry but I start with the aggression from it.

a good friend of mine (a woman) was pissed out of her mind a few nights ago.. I walked her home from the bar, which barely worked because she couldnt really keep her balance, and was resistant when I kept trying to get her to go towards her home. Anyway, after getting her to her house and her not needing anything else, I left to walk to my own home. I got a text from her the next day, and she was in the hospital. She punched out some windows in her house, cutting some tendons and some major arteries. Her arm is all bandaged up so she hasnt seen how bad it really is yet, and they wont tell her how many stitches she got, except they were external and internal stitching. Sometimes its better to just not drink if you react to it poorly.

I know its cliche but Stella does actually make me angrier. But it can happen from drinking anything

I dunno, I always over analyse stuff so that probably only gets worse if im drunk. When I'm sober the way people act is normally what gets me really pissed off because I'm normally a pretty calm guy. its normally people I know really well as well like my mum or my best mates (which is probably why I dont hit people when im angry because they're around!) That and computer games. I no longer play football games after I smashed countless controlers, an Ipod and put my foot through my TV :?

last time it happened was about a week ago when I broke my hand on a wall but that was because I was at my friends memorial party and I got really emotional, so I think thats excusable

fucking hell! yeah maybe it is better. I'm two completely different people when im drunk and sober. When I'm sober I'm really shy and dont talk much but when im drunk im pretty much the opposite. I've always been told its not good to drink if it chages your personality, but I swear everyone changes when they're drunk?

edit: internal stitches :o :o :o :o

Your set requests make a bit more sense now. :)
*Edit* Maybe as you're shy when sober and over think things you get angry coz you can't/don't articulate you feelings/thoughts to those you care about and so you internalise those thoughts and it goes on till you snap and break something. Maybe?
I don't know what to suggest other than find an activity to focus on. Definitely seek professional advice though. If you see a GP, make things clear and don't be shy or they'll just fuck you off with some pills you probably don't need.

people change but not to the extent theres a total polar shift in their character.
the way i see its like there are personality floodgates, alcohol opens them a bit and lets the more suppressed side of you through. could be a deeper issue than 'alcohol makes me angry', perhaps its more like 'im truly deeply angry, and alcohol unleashes that side of me'.
but i dont know you so im not gonna draw any conclusions.

Maybe drink less? Which might be easier said then done. I dunno I tend to go overboad very easily as when I'm drunk I don't think that I should slow down.

And cutting your arm up from punching a window doesn't sound nice. I put my arm through a window a while ago. Just pulled a couple small bits out of my hand but that's it. Guess I was lucky maybe. Did someone say internal stitches? That grosses me the fuck out
