i have an older version of the shuffle that has been sitting in my closet since i got the 60 gig one. but i recently got it out to wear at work without worrying about losing or breaking it. it seems to only get recognized by my computer about half the time i plug it in though (maybe less than half). and it will only turn on if i turn it on directly after unplugging it from the wall adapter?
kind of a pain in the ass. anyone know something i can do to fix it?

weird, same thing is happening with my Creative.

it won't recognize it unless i pull the battery out then stick it back in without it being plugged into the adapter.

i cant unplug the battery in my shuffle.... maybe i should just get a new shuffle, theyre not that expensive
