New artists feedback thread

Hi guys i dont know if this idea will kick off or not but there seem to be a LOT of new artists coming on here to learn how to make music, including myself. i thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for people out there like myself, who are just getting into this production business. The days of years and years of trial and error til you get it right are long gone, the days of forums and youtube tutorials are in so there are more people able to start from absolutely nothing like myself and start producing mixes to help them express themselfs etc. and i understand that all the seasoned pros will probably get sick of hearing amateur tune after ameteur tune considering the amount of people out there (including me) that have just jumped onto the dubstep train without paying the fare of years and years of trial and error that the seasoned pros have, but im pretty sure people like me who are just starting off are also interested in hearing other tunes from beginning producers.

For example if i listen to someones track whos been producing for a similar time to me i enjoy listening to their sound and try and see what angle of attack they are coming from etc to help further my own ideas. If i listen to flux pavilion it makes me want to give up and play some video games instead.

I would like this thread to be a hosting place for any dubstep producers that have been producing for less than a year. or around that. Ill upload a tune, someone can give me feedback on it and upload another tune. Ill give feedback on the next tune and so will someone else who can then upload another song themselfs... etc. and when you upload your tune, state how long youve been in the game for. It would also be cool for some pro's feedback too though. (example: your snares too muddy etc)

Hope this kicks off!

Ill start off...

I have been producing for 6 months. Id like to give credit to kevwillow7 on youtube, Mac & the other pros on the moneyshot thread here, and the production bible.

Nah man, this, or variations on this, have been suggested before.

Thing is there's a dubs section in this forum which is for getting feedback on finished tunes, there's also WIP thread up top to use for any tunes you haven't finished to get feedback on.

So the feedback thing is facilitated by the forum already and if you create a permanent thread for feedback here you reduce the effectiveness of the dubs section, making it a spammy waste hole essentially.

Which is why threads like this tend to get shot down pretty fast :P

ok so its constructive noob hate, not just noob hate for noob hates sake. What you say makes sence, ill go post up my tune in another thread. just thought it would be a good idea for a thread like this for the noob portion of DSF to not have to worry about all the noob hate etc.
cheers

I quite liked when dubs was all spam and shameless self promo, now I have nowhere to get away from the technicals on here, production advice has even overthrown the main forum...

Least everythings okay over in hiphop, probably because noone realizes theres a hiphop subforum.
