Hi everyone!

I hope you will enjoy this one! A 140 bpm progressive dubstep track, with a long break, that I tried to make "uplifting".
I participate with this track to an Anthem Contest for the Noname Festival, a little Belgian event that will take place in July... so please show some love, "liking" this track on the Festival's Wall (well, if you enjoy it, if you prefer another one, don't hesitate to choose another!).

http://www.facebook.com/#!/nonamegardenparty (also listenable via Soundcloud in my signature)

And if a label likes it, I'm looking for one with this track...do not hesitate to contact me!

Thanks everyone!

Nice vyvyan

I`m liking the four to the floor style beats.
Good work.

My only minor gripe is with the kick.
Maybe just my opinion but I thought it was panned to wide.
Made it seem a bit empty.
A bit but not much :D

Hi!
Thanks for feedback! The Panning of the kick is completely different on soundcloud and on the real file, I don't really know why, it has "aplanished" the kick while passing with soundcloud, and it sounds weaker... good to know though.

i really like the minimalistic hats you have going on there, they make me think of icicles clattering against each other! only thing i can see improving it would be warming up and raising the level of the sub bass, however i'm only using two 6" monitors and no subwoofer but i do still feel that the sub levels are low in comparison to other songs with similar feel.

Thanks for the answer!

Looks like the bass is definetely not strong enough: I'll put another version online I hope tonight, with a deeper bass!

yeh that kick is panned for some reason, maybe it's the encoding soundcloud uses but i love the progressive trancey feel to this, my kind of dubstep, pushing the sound in a new direction. pad work is good also. i think maybe the ol' sidechain the pads to the kick would be good for a bit of extra movement? but yeh good track

I've listenned to your comments, and made two things:
- Increased the bass, and got a deeper kick.
- And if you go on the following link, you'll hear the mp3 320 version of this sample, so you can feel it in much higher quality and tell me what you think.
http://s222801341.onlinehome.fr/musique ... unrise.mp3 (direct click, or right click->save as)

I've also panned a lil bit the hit-hats... just for more fun!

Thanks for the listenning, hope you'll find some changings and enjoy this version.

Totally not my thing I'm afraid. I'm not a fan of constant soundscapes, don't get me wrong, I love minimal music, but this has no bite to it nor is it going anywhere imo. I've waited for a significant change throughout the whole track, but I don't seem to get it if there is any development at all. (OK, the minimal techno I like is of a more fidget-y nature than this). I think I might like it if your production was higher paced, idk. I'm sorry if this sounded a little harsh I can be a total dick sometimes.

Hi

Thanks for your feedback, even if it is negative: we cannot please everyone (and we cannot like everything), fortunately, otherwise life would be quite boring!

What do other people think about it??

Hey there, maybe a suggestion if you want to get some feedback, leave feedback on others' tracks and ask for a feedback back, you'll get more luck with that then bumping! (I don't think the mods appreciate double posts that much either.)

As for feedback, I like the ambient relaxing style of it, the only feedback I have is with the kick rhythm, with such a relaxing song it doesn't really fit the upbeat and it takes away from the calm flow the track gives. The kick sounds fine for the style you're going for, from what I can hear.

Maybe you could drop some feedback on my track as well? I'd appreciate it :)

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback!

The idea of the upbeat was to make it soft but punchy, a lil bit like progressive or trancy music... or in dubstep i was inspired by Orphan101 tracks for example.

PS: I've given lots of feedbacks in the last few days imo ;-) check out in my profile!

Did you ask for feedback in return though? that's usually how you get them :p

skeptical at the beginning, pads saved it! to get a snare on the second drop would be a nice surprise. Other than that, good atmosphere a bit repetitive on the melody side. overall nice track! :)

Very nice track, love the breakdown :W:

Have you tried contacting lables? It might work better for you, seeing as most lables are receiving loads of demos a week, and don't have the time to look for people (even though it does happen sometimes).

Hi there!

Thanks for your comments!
@Gonzzzor: The repetitive side of the track is some regular feedback, I've noticed it for my next works, and take that into account... but on this one I want to keep it like that.
@3za: Thx for the Scloud comment! I've contacted label yes, quite a few, but have received no positive feedbacks (or no feedback at all!), but then I know that it is much a question of patience and of time... So I keep it aside, and will continue proposing tracks.
