A lot of history that I'll prob go through later but;

Some photos I took of my high street 2 weeks ago.

93% of local people opposed it, squatted the site for months, squatted opposite it for years. Shop opened Friday, been brewing, massive demo outside every day & night.
Tried to evict those from Telepathic Heights squat opposite Tesco, ONE of Stokes Croft's squats and brought Bristol to a standstill.

My mate got jumped by 7 stnuc down there last night.

Tesco flexing corporate muscle on the media it seems. Very hard to find any coverage of what is actually happening online right now.

Tescos did this in brighton. Bought up the land where a comunity gardens was (right next to a Coop so no need for another supermarket) leveled the gardens and are building a 2 storey shop there I think now

haha this. seems like all the trouble was in the ashley road area so should be fine where i am

woke up this morning with my mum spouting the bollocks that's reported in the news. seems very suspect and no mention of how ridiculous the police were being

been reading about it on hijack http://www.hijackbristol.co.uk/board/th ... glos-road/

this articles very interesting about the apparent politicisation of police statements http://brightgreenscotland.org/index.ph ... s-protest/
