The Red Cross, just as any large State-affiliated bureaucratic apparatus, failed to distribute the $156 Million it received for well over a month. In the process there were people in Fukushima and Minamisanriku who literally starved to death, amidst of having late freezing winters--responsible for several deaths due to lack of blankets and supplies--in the worst hit sector of Japan it was reveled that the money entrusted to this organization remained in a limbo state despite the obvious need from the victims. The matter is further documented in this article as well as a VERY vivid and compelling visit documented by J-MMA fighter Inoue Enson went to the disaster area, of his own volition and own resources after Paypal froze the donations he received, to assist in what was essentially trying to help the victims combat what has been a failure by the State and this charity in question to date.
