I thoroughly dislike your music, and I think your site is badly designed both architecturally and conceptually.

OP no offence intended here, but why have you started up this website?

I guess I'm asking this as a general question as every week you can bet that there will be another person just like you who comes here posting a blog just like yours. I just don't understand why you would bother going to the effort at all I guess.

Thanks for the feedback! What about the concept don't you understand? And what don't you like about the design?

I'm sure numerous people have tried something like this. I think I have the resources and creativity to do it better. Plus I really love dubstep, so it isn't that big of a deal to listen to tracks and share them.

I 'started it up' mainly because I 1) want to introduce (IN MY OPINION) good artists and great tracks to those people that are unfortunately stuck in the 'o ya dubstep i love that band' phase, and 2) have a repository of fantastically dirty tunes.

btw the term mid range cack is absolutely hilarious to say out loud. what a great name.

You don't have any resources at all, you're just re-posting shitty youtube clips, as someone above rightly pointed out.

Also, from looking at your selection of 'fantastically filthy tunes' as you put it, it would appear that you yourself are very much in that 'o ya dubstep i love that band' phase'...

And please don't use the term 'Dub God' - unless of course you are actually using it properly i.e.

(I realise the irony of using a youtube clip to emphasise my point, so don't bother pointing that out.)

Actually can't believe I'm having this discussion, poster has all the signs of a really blatent troll!

Sooo you're just flaming about the genre of music now? If you don't like what is being posted, just shut up.

I think his opinion was that Rusko doesn't make dub music, it's an entirely different genre (again, Rusko, make more tracks like Acton Dread!).

To me, it seems a bit of a pointless blog, you have tracks by Rusko, Mt. Eden and remixes of Ellie Goulding tracks. Maybe it's just me, but I reckon pure bods that would check your blog already know about these tracks. Fair play for liking the music passionately, but maybe it would be more productive if you were pushing some less known producers?

Yes, it is. My friends and I maintain a blog and post only exclusive content/interviews/mixes/free320's, and on the rare occasion I do post something that isnt exclusive to us, I am posting preview clips and reviews of tracks sent in directly from the labels who are publishing them. Granted this keeps us from posting as often as we could if we were simply reposting popular material, however, its the price you pay to offer your readers new, interesting, material which will keep them checking back for more.

If you want to start a blog great. Dont make it reposts of the most popular videos on youtube this week. That makes no sense, your not informing anyone, your repositng what is already highly popular.

This isnt about midrange/filth vs. sub-heavy/deep... I thoroughly love both sides of the fence. They are pointing out that your blog has nothing to offer that they couldnt get typing 'dubstep' into youtube.

I appreciate the actual constructive nature of what you said. I'm certainly not just posting the most popular video of the week.

The real drive behind the blog is related to my initial experiences with dubstep; I didn't know who to search for, I didn't know what good tracks were, I didn't know much of anything.

My goal is to introduce tracks that I enjoy, in an attempt to expose visitors to popular artists, and newer material. I am constantly developing my personal means of being ahead of the curve, so that the material is always (if possible) new, and engaging.

I hope that, with time, the utility of my idea will grow. I understand that right now, it is pretty stupid to go to a website that has like, 14 random songs. With more content comes organization, and with organization comes clarity; it is definitely a work in progress.

Fortunately, I think my audience is less in tune with the dubstep scene than the community here. Clearly my site is far too behind the times for you guys LOL.

It might not be cack vs bass to you, but most of the other posts in this thread certainly are :6:

If you all are already familiar with the music that I have posted, then don't listen to it! Recognize that there are still a LOT of people out there that don't know who Skrillex is, love him or hate him. If I can show 6 people 3 specific artists to follow on youtube/twitter/facebook/google/life/interweb, then I have accomplished my goal.

Do you have any support for what you said? Or do you just like dishing out insults, and then suggesting suicide? I can only imagine the kind of person you are IRL :D
