Hey up dubstep peeps, I'm scratch_eddie, a musician from Sheffield. I like a bit of dubstep but it sends me to sleep when I hear it played in clubs. Thus I have forged a new sub-generic term: Clubstep. I use this to denote a form of dubstep influenced music that is more hectic than dubstep, but more intricate and interesting than grime (in my own humble opinion). I put together this mix afew months ago, thought I'd offer it up to all you krohnic beat-munchers and let you taste the early evolutionary stages of the clubstep phenomenon!
