i never said it was a scam...i was just saying these types of things take your info and spam you with products etc even if you dont win. its a chance to win a production course but its also an advertisement method.
also the first statement i said, i was mostly kidding...i was just being a typical DSF hard ass aight? lol
i just personally think that whoever joins the forum soley to advertise something is a bit of a troll. imo everyone should contribute to the forums before they begin advertising and such...its just common courtesy and gives us a chance to get to know the person...
also, i did check out the link and the site and it does seem legit. i may enter, but im still not keen on getting spammed with catalogs and products and such. i have tons of shit being mailed to me and emailed everyday...
so to the OP: thank you for notifying us of this opportunity, but at the same time i think you should follow our advice and become a part of the forum before advertising.

Granted, it would of been nice if i'd go a message asking to advertise...
But its a competition to win a course at their school - don't see any harm in them wanting to get some of the DSF community at their school.
