scrag - really nice clean sound here, and the mid bass is evil so props on the production for sure.... where is the soul though??? this is a pretty emotionless piece of music for me, but good depth, sounds wicked on headphones, i think some more bass could be coaxed out of this as well....

the coloussus sample - lovely sound at beginning...again real clean real nice sound, real wide mid bass, you got thatlgitched sound down, i think it clashes a bit with your arpeggio though.... again, lacking a bit of emotion for me.... and again, more bass please! and some more flowing drums! but your production again is pretty top notch so get in!

cant get the last tune to play for some reason.... maybe soundcloud fing up!!

but yea....not my bag, but wicked production values....!

To be honest, I really like soulless music, and have known so my whole life. I am a huge fan and used to be a guitarist for mathcore bands, I like technicality over soul any day. Not arguing, just sayin where I'm comin from, and thanks for the props and ps 6/8 is actually not very diff, I just wanted my take on it, there stenchman - spell on you and a song by borgore and a few other 6/8 or 3/4 tunes out there, just fyi.

I don't get this need to rebut the feedback you just solicited. if you're just going to justify your work's qualities in the face of criticism, don't bother asking for it.
I don't care about what other people do in 6/8. THIS sound, the one you just posted asking for feedback, isn't working for me in 6/8. But to be completely frank, its not gonna work in any time sig, because your drums suck and your production value is piss poor, contrary to the beliefs of The Wests.

If you want someone to stroke your dick, go to a whorehouse.

Also, Modern Talking is not a fucking "iconic dubstep sound" whatsoever.

Ow, ouchhate, I wasnt being defensive, just giving you some background on why it is like it is, sorry if I offended you but I am going for something like sluggo and liquid stranger - stalkers, that sort of track, just chill out man, I don't know why you have to go straight to in insulting me when I did nothing of the kind to you, and like 60% of the stuff being released on chronos and ultragore have at least one song with some sort of what this forum considers to be "modern talking" which seems to mean any mouth noise at this point, and those are the primary labels id like to be on. Yet again, no hate here, just calm yourself lil unicorn.

hmmm, so a clean clear sound is piss poor production values eh???? hmmmm......

if you cant hear sounds becaue of the masking effect that is poor production,

if sounds clash that is poor production

If the bass is boomy that is poor production

if the bottom is bloated that is poor production

i didnt hear any of those things.... sure he isnt pushing the frequncy range, but he has a minimal sound and people dig that.... i think you have gone a tad over the top there....

Also.... do whore houses actually exsist????? if i want my dick sucked id get my girlfriend to do it.... hoes is dutty man....real real dutty!

HAHA

I really dig this, I dig "soulless" music as well. It's very dark and projects a mood very strongly. I love when you brought in that organ again after the drop. This track is freaking sick! Nice job :)

:W: Okay, heres the thing, this track is sick. I don't want to offend you by saying it really reminded me of skrillex so i won't say that. I will, however, say i am mad jelly of your skills. Two questions, how long have you been producing and What plugins do you use to make those sick-ass-scary-as-fuck-satan-dirty-dirty wobbles?

Well, I started playing around with dubstep in mid 2009, and I have been secretly working on stuff since then. I started putting tracks together in mid 2010, and then I started deleting all of those tracks in late 2010, lol. I use Massive and FM8 to create the bases of the synths and then I use fabfilter volcano, some ohm stuff, some random free junk and random different native instruments programs to effect further. I use PSP and Waves plugins to add saturator and pull it all together and master/ mix.

I like them all man, im partial to dark shit though. With Scrag ide up the drum levels, and try to make it the drop smack me in the face more. Colossus I like alot, ide only again bring the drums up a tiny bit. The viral threat tune ide leave alone. Awesome work man! Im also envious of the production skill here.

i really like your production value but the composition seems a little lacking imo, maybe just not my cup of tea. Nice work though :)

and what i mean by composition i was talking about scrag, its mainly and opinion with me tbh. I like my music very dynamic, if you couldnt tell, ha with yours you have like a smooth consistancy, which is good with most people, but just not my kind of thing. Very good production quality though on your sounds. peace.

Wow scrag is pretty dark and evil I like! The drums could have a bit more umph in them to make the song really punch you in the face. The drop was nice(albeit it could smack my brain a bit harder seems to drop on a lower note then get intense like half a second later.) But yah overall filthy tune man.

Scrag, horrible name for a horrible tune lol

Not really my kind of thing with dubstep but listened to it open mindfully,

Intro is very dark and creepy, gets really eery when those gagging samples come in.

Basses where cool, sounded slick in the mix and produced pretty well, as I said it's not my thing but sounds to me like you nailed the sound your shootin for :P

thx for the feedback,

pre listen- collosus was sick when I first heard it so you better live up to it!

post-
lovin the intro reminded me of an evil circus(then I read the thread title 8)) maybe a little too long for me,
drop was heavy, diggin your style of drops very moody.
Productions sounds great to my ears, which doesnt mean a damn thing, basses sound very full without any over dist. no mud.
As I see from the comment you are very technical with your bass sounds and automation yet I would love to see that effort also go into some crazy percussion, im sure it would be wild.
