So the only thing I miss heaps since moving to the UK is good beer - I really like pale ales and IPAs, nom nom nom. I tired Erdinger, that was quite delicious. Anyone got some sweet recommendations so I don't have to go out and drink the town dry?

Anything from the Badger brewery;
And anything from Wychwood,
particularly Hobgoblin;

You may not like if it if you drink IPAs, personally I think Old Tom and Old Tom chocolate are the best beers I have ever had.
Best pub for beers is The Turf in Oxford.

Not a rhubard eater at ALL. However, after going through a massaive ale and beer stage and trying basically every bottles beer I could, this is one of the nicest I came across. Probably out of a rough 150-200 figure! They did sell it in tesco for a VERY brief time where I live, but i havn't been able to find it for a few years now

Holts? Don't know if you can get it outside of Manchester. But that stuff is tasty. Much like drinking a tree.

Hobgoblin is about the only thing I drink in this league. Tesco tomorrow to cop up something new. I know they do some Brewdog bottles so on that. Gonna keep an eye out for other stuff from here and the proper beer thread.

Can't stress these beers enough, Wild Swan is impeccable! You should be able to get it in Waitrose now I think.
Also, the man who said Brewdog is on the right track as although Scottish they adopt quite an American approach to brewing, give Punk IPA a try - should be able to get it in Tesco.

I hope you mean Budvar... because last time I checked rice wasn't an ingredient in beer!
