So... this is my new favourite type of music. I'm assuming 808/Bass is the correct term, as this is the type of music I think that reflects the sounds of Pearson Sound/Addison Groove/A1 Bassline/etc. It's very exciting music but I want MOOOORE! Anyone got any recomendations?

no it isn't
it's basically electro made under the dubstep banner, with modern production techniques and some juke influences
i love the stuff but check out this drexciya tune from 1999 and you'll see it's nothing particularly new
check out the swamp 81 camp - loefah, addison groove, instra:mental/boddika etc

I know what Juke is and that Addison Groove can be classified as that genre. But Pearson Sound doesn't sound anything like that!

that was nice. thanks!
I know it really isn't a new genre or anything, the 808 drum machine is pretty much just as old as me. But having getting into what Pearson Sound/Hessle Audio are doing lately, I just can't get enough of that sound! It's like it's fresh again! I was wanting to know what other people were listening to and maybe see if there were any gems that I'm missing out on.
