The last edition of Subversive Renaissance in Cafe Pakhuis Wilhelmina in Amsterdam featured the residents (DJ Trax, Big Eye and John Doe), T-Mus with a dubstep, Nucleus with a DJ set and Paradox with a DJ set as well!

Be sure to grab these sets and check them out, any comments are appreciated!

The sets can be downloaded in 128kbps stereo mp3 format at http://depot.jungletrain.net/sr18/

Enjoy!

Please do NOT link to the downloads directory but instead link to the url above and respect IChiOne and jungletrain.net for their hard work on this one. You are free to link to the download page of course, but please remember that most of the worldwide scene thrives on mutual respect!

and for my part:

All tracks are unreleased, from unsigned producers (at least at the time i got the track)
Except the Kyuss and Scuba track
Big Up and many thanks to all who gave me their pieces of work, there is a lot of things and talent going on underneath the labeled surface!
This mix is an appreciation to that, and also just a chilled stomach feeding one, with long (n lazy) mixes.

A cafe? A cafe?

:P

photo's can't tell, but it has one hell of a decoration, 2 big beamers with live VJ-ing (by the best Dutch VJ imho) and 2 Dia-projectors (if you still know what that is) who project design-paters on walls ( examples )

imo the best party in the netherlands, all media are touched, (even fooooood! fresh food allnight, frikking spicey saté!), done with 100% dedication and love for music and art and people.
it was a total honour to play there.

Just got through it now...

Pooooeeeehhhhh!

What a nice mix. Loving your style.

Mass Dampers - Is this an early mix? I bought the double A side from Red and it sounds somewhat different. Fucking great tune. (I think it's my favourite dub track ever, actually)

So Strong is great. Stone is a great way to finish the set - Back to the roots with a new twist.

Nice. Wish I could have been there.

:)

tnx 201! been enjoying playing your tunes, yur ma favourite producers-ass to kiss

indeed an older version of mass dampers, i just saw it available on digital-tunes.net, is that your version? what is different? (keep in mind i played it a bit slow for its 145 bpm)

i played this set for about 25 people :P , some sort of preparty with a nice meal in the venue itself, hence the title, from 19.00-20.30 or some.

oh, and don't mind the hickups in the recording, i just might fix those and get the file replaced.

pees
