Reign's 'mastering' service [Free of charge]

Hi there folks,

It's been a while since I last posted here, I've been studying and experimenting alot with my own mastering, and I now came to a point I'd like to try out my skills on other people's tracks, purely for the purpose of getting more experienced with the process of mastering.

+My experience:

I've now had one year of sound production class, learning about mixing, mastering and producing. I've been a producer for around 3 years myself and I've been 'mastering' my own tracks for about half a year now. (The tracks I released were mastered by a professional engineer for the release)

+What will I do to your track:

Using a combination of compression, EQ and limiting , I'll try to boost your track in the right spots to give it a new edge, just like a real engineer would. I won't be using any hardware , since I cannot afford those. I'll be using a set of software compressors/EQ/limiters and my Yamaha HS80M monitors.

+What do you need to do if you're interested:

You just send me a PM here or by email, including a download link to your track. Your track must be at least 16-bit WAV , undithered and at 44.1kHz samplerate.
I'll handle the bits while I'm at my studio and you're likely to have them back within a couple of days :)

Sample 1 - (Fable - Tantrum)
Soundcloud

Sample 2 - (SMFM - Twisted Reign remix)
Soundcloud

Hope to be doing some work for you guys! :)

Greets,

Reign

Wow sweet. I'm trying to learn myself, but I'd love to give you some stuff to master and see how they compare. :)

D'you reckon you could guide me? Like, I send you my self-masters, and you could kinda tell me what kind of things to fix up and how to go about it?
Just that I wanna learn for myself

Ofcourse, vocal tracks are a nice challange to do so I'd love to give it a shot :)

If you mean mix down and master the track, I'd be willing to do both but I'm gonna focus on the people that sent in tracks for mastering only first though :)

What happened at the drop? It didn't drop, it sounded like it just fell over? :S
Is that because of the mixdown?

It dropped 8 bars in the clip, that falling over thing is from premaster to master :)
