I can never finish my songs! I dont know if its because I go into songs with a (oh well this sound is cool lets add this one bla bla) instead of following a more structured approach or what but im getting really frustrated by this. How do you go about making songs? Ever just get really stuck and quit?

also lots of times i have a certain sound in my head but can never reproduce it with massive or other synths. (in this song ive got a build to what i want to be a big drop but i can make a cool bass for the life of me) maybe i just need practice idk fuaaark

Too much emphasis on the sub and what are you doing to make the bass, you can pm me if youd like, because I know quite a bit about making NASTY synths, and reproducing synths. Maybe you are resampling too hard, and its also just not loud enough. I would go ahead and make a good nasty synth to start with and then just minimally effect it to start with, to learn the ropes a bit, and I could help a little bit if you pm me.
