Rusko sound still "in"?

Rusko is still my favourite producer by far, just wondering if his sound is still popular in the dubstep scene. A lot of people don't like his newer work, but by "sound" I obviously mean work such as Action Dread, Hammertime, Roma, Mr. Chips, Cockney Thug, Woo Boost, Spongebob, Beta Max, Gone 2 Far, Pro Nails, Well 'ard, Big Headed Slags, Jahova, V, Rock Bottom, Get Your Cock Out...you get my drift?

Are there any producers like Rusko I could check out? Like a clean brostep I guess.

I get what you mean... his stuff doesn't seem to be as popular as it was. It now seems to be all skrillex hype. :L We'll have to wait and see what comes next.

But I think his tunes are great. :) His wubs are so warm and funky. :D

I'd just like to add that I saw Skrillex live at Summercamp this year, and I was sorely dissapointed. He reaally needs more work on his live set, he messed up a few times to the point were the crowd actually boo'd and awwwwww'd. Which made him get on the mic and say how sorry he was he messed up. He is indeed a very, very nice guy. But, I will never ever make it a point to see Skrillex live again. Bassnectar all the way, that guy throws an absolutely hamazing show every fucking time.

This is the one thing that annoyed me about Fabriclive 37, so many people (me included) thought every tune was Rusko and Caspa but it just wasn't. Spongebob is Coki and V is Distance, i know now but wish i had known who Coki, Distance, The Others etc were a while back.

Rusko is sick, I still like his newer stuff kinda but I prefer the older shit before O.M.G. but all his tunes have super groove :corndance:

All the skrillex hype is so lame, honestly the only people I know that like him never liked any kind of dubstep whatsoever and most of them didn't like any form of electronic music at all. Just a bunch of wack college 'bros' who were made fun of in high school, listening to whatever's "in" at the time :a:

Does anyone else feel kind of nostalgic for the days when Cockney Thug was the awful tearout wobble tune that was destroying the scene? Now we've got legions of Skrillex copyists it seems kind of quaint...

You can all hate on me and troll but I don't like Skrillex at all. Yes, he has the sickest sounds around, but he has no rythem or structure. His songs are chopped up WAY too much and I just never could get a feel for it.

Rusko is my all time fave. He is amazing live and always has a great groove. I like his new just as much as his old.

You gained 1000 respect points for that, but...
