Hey everyone, Excision is playing in my city on the 23rd at a venue one of my friends manages, so I was given a VIP pass to the show.
So if I meet him, I was wondering if it'd be weird or rude to ask him information on how he produces, or techniques, I'm not really sure what the industries attitude is on this sort of thing?
Also! If I do meet him, are there any questions that you guys would like me to ask?
Might seem like a useless post but there could be some big excision fans that don't have the chance to meet him, so I thought if there was something someone was dying to know I could get the answer for you.

well thats a nice offer of yours but honestly... imagine you'd be in his situation. i'll just assume he's a nice guy so he won't say when he's annoyed but i suppose he will be. he's gonna be busy playing out or getting wasted afterwards, if i were you i'd just drink a beer with him and generally have a good time partying rather than asking him production-related stuff (which i assume happens daily for him anyway).

or just ask him what's his favorite beer

Don't bug him with questions. Just ask to buy him a drink after the show then just talk and let him know you also make music and ask for tips. Bring a flash drive or cd with your music to give to him.

Ask him about the water in Kelowna.

Just ask him if he has a minute to answer a few questions, if he's busy he won't stick around. We got 5 minutes of questions at a show a year ago, just make sure your questions aren't already all over the internet, yeah? =)

As in don't ask "What synths do yo use?", or "How do you get that sick bass", get more technical. Anyone here can answer bad questions to the degree he will.

Was actually a serious comment - Excision does chime in on certain threads in the Production group if you mention his name enough. Use the search function if you don't believe us.

Dont ask him anything, just get really drunk, get right up in his face and go:
