actually on topic.... you know when you get home from a gig and you hear a constant buzzing for a while.... is it actually true that you'll never hear that frequency again? Or is that codswallop

Remember having a heavy ringing in my ears after a Modeselektor gig and it took well over a week to clear

Off the back of that I bought myself a pair of Earsonics earplugs to use at noisy gigs. And i've not used them once! Would be handy to have them ready for when you get caught next to a stack but remembering to bring them out in the first place is the hard part

Worth looking into if you give a fuck about your hearing but your fellow brosteppers might ridicule and shun you for wearing them, leaving you feeling like a dick with confused priorities

dont think thats true, think it does mean permanent damage has been done though (albeit minor)

also at true dubstep shows i doubt much hearing loss is had, since most of the freqs are low. at a circus records show, i wager you'd lose hearing due to all the screeching and anal rape sounds.

if you're there for the sub bass you can wear some little foam earbuds and pretty much not miss a thing since you'll feel it in your chest anyway

out to the tinnitus crew, got it in my right ear when i was about 16 and its still here to this day

Always wear earplugs now...my ears are fucked.

Worst case I've ever had was seeing Napalm Death in 2006. I was light headed and felt sick for like a week, was proper bad.
